A person who helps people who are sick, and looks after their health.

A person who can work very well about a particular thing and is given the title Doctor by a university, for example a doctor in psychology could be called Doctor John Smith.

If you doctor someone, you act as a medical doctor towards them.

If you doctor something or someone, you change them.
