If a person is juvenile, they are childish and immature.

A juvenile is a young stage in the development of an animal. It applies to animals which have 'direct development' from the egg, not those which undergo metamorphosis.

Example: Young male lions which do not have manes, and are not ready for breeding, are juveniles.
