nigger

A very offensive and insulting name for a black person, sometimes used between black people themselves. It is more upsetting when used by people of other races (i.e. people who are not black).

Example: Hey, nigger, what's up? (friendly if the speaker is black)

A black person who acts badly.

Example: I love black people, but I hate niggers. — Chris Rock
