If someone seizes (takes) something from someone by force, or arrests someone, it is a seizure.

Example: The police captain said that the seizure of the drugs was going to help catch the criminals

If a person has a seizure, they move around without controlling it and their muscles get tense.

Example: He's on the floor and convulsing! I think he's having a seizure!
