spoon

A spoon is a little, long, thin, metal thing with a round end for putting food in one's mouth.

Example: Put a knife, a fork and a spoon near the plate on the table.

When two people spoon, they lie next to each other with one person's back against the other person's front, similar to the way two spoons are stacked together.
